Hope you had a great halloween. Halloween marks the start of the Holiday Season, kicking it off with candy, then the holiday luncheons, and oh, them parties. Research shows that people spend about five months to lose the weight they gained from Halloween to Christmas – oh my.
Some of you may go through your child's halloween loot, picking out your favorites, and snack on those for the week. I know I did, especially if there was a snack sized Kit Kat, yum. This is the time of year where most take it easy and give into the excuses that pop in our heads like “Oh, I'll just have it this one time” or “I'll work it off after the holidays”. Next thing you know, you're just snacking away for the next two months, without even realizing it – doh!
For those of you who can relate, here are some ways to prevent holiday weight gain.
